Title: Auster B8 Agricola
Post by: Balsabasher on December 14, 2013, 11:37:23 PM
Templates prepared today for the Auster B8 Agricola agricultural aircraft, this was a brave attempt by the Auster company to supply ag aircraft to New Zealand, unfortunately the Fletcher FU.24 became the standard farm aviation type and Auster's lost millions of pounds in development costs, only one single example of this superb well engineered workhorse machine flys today from Carr Farm,Nottingham,UK owned by Richard Baker.

I love rare birds Lou,this one has been on my list for some time and there are others in the pipeline,I am going to have to buy a few rattle cans when the weather gets warmer to complete the colours schemes on this latest batch.

Barry, I'm going to copy Lou's remarks because they not only seem appropriate but also express what Solid Scale is all about: "where do you find all these rare birds?" Keep up the good work. And also the historical remarks accompanying them.
