Hello All,
Being new to all this, I didn't realize that a few solid model kits were still being made. I was surfing around the net and found this website http://www.pennvalleyhobbycenter.com/rubber/megow.htm (http://www.pennvalleyhobbycenter.com/rubber/megow.htm) They have Albatros D-3, Douglas DC2, Fokker D-7, Pfalz D-3, Curtiss Condor, Sopwith Camel and a dirt track racer all around 20 bucks each. Has anyone built these or purchased from this retailer? It might be fun to try an actual kit.

These are reproduction type kits of the originals listed in 'Flying Aces' there have been a few attempts to introduce a few solid kits including the China Clipper a few years ago, sadly these kits rarely get off the ground due to lack of sales, great attempts at nostalgia.

I haven't purchased from them yet but I hear they are a very good company. They are known for trying to keep free flight rubber and control line alive. I would order from them with no hesitation. The folks on Flying Models magazine speak highly of them.
