Title: 1/32 Cierva C-30 /Avro Rota Mk1 finished 15/2/13
Post by: Boomerang on February 15, 2013, 06:02:21 AM

The C-30 is finished. Made bit of time this week and got stuck in.

All markings are done by hand. If a come across some suitable roundels in the future I will retrofit them.

Looks great Gardon. Rotor blades are nice to see as very few are made by our members. The hand painted markings give it the vintage look. Great job.

Interesting machines, the Royal Radar establishment used these for early experimental work mostly flown by Army pilots trained by the RAF with very few hours, the camouflage looks just right on the Cierva C30A/Avro Rota.
