The Boeing CIM10B Bomarc was a surface-to-air missile purchased when the Canadian government thought the manned interceptor was a dead concept.  Two RCAF missile squadrons as part of NORAD from 1962 to 1972. My model is 1/72 and depicts the early deployment of the Bomarc. This makes number 103 in my RCAF project,
Construction is poplar dowels and pine wings and tail assembly.

Thank you Gordon. Construction was easy with just dowels of various sizes. At somewhat less than 5 hours of carving, sanding, and making/printing decals, this is my fastest build to date.

it is an interesting model. I like how there was still a "cockpit" even though it was an unmanned missile.

There is a Bomarc on display outside at the Alberta Aviation Museum in Edmonton Alberta..
