Lou
The fleet is slowly growing with the addition of th Flower Class Corvette.
Lou
You have been a busy chap Lou,quite a fleet that you have there.
Barry.
The PT Boat belongs to Garet. The fleet has taken 7 years to assemble and most of them in group builds.
Lou
That is some flotilla!
We currently add an Empire Cargo Liner to the list. Based on SS Explorer drawings posted by Marsh, the ship was very enjoyable to build.
Lou
All very nice Lou. But good grief please tell us poor mortals just where do you get the time!
Cliff.
I agree with Cliff! Do even sleep Lou?
Peter
Sleep walking, sleep carving, I wonder. Actually I am retired and this keeps me sane????? Without this group I would have cashed in long ago.
Lou
At least with sleep walking when a solid modeller you know where you have been during the night, just follow the trail of shavings !!
A great historical fleet Lou,they do look good.
Barry.
Thank you Barry. The misses always complains about that train of shavings making it to the living areas of the house. An that is without the sleep walking.
Lou
"Time" does seem to be a factor when it comes to solid model building as it applies to adequately replicating a real aircraft. However, Lou's secret of solving this problem - and which he has promised to reveal - will shortly take care of that! Very nice work on your fleet, Lou. It truly is a wonder to behold! Of course the next problem is: How or Where do we store such a number of ships? Nice job again, Lou!
Cliff.
Thanks Cliff. At 1/350 scale they do not take up much room (except for the carrier).
Lou
The Prestonian Class Frigates have joined the fleet. Close up photos of them will be placed in the proper post later tomorrow.
Lou
That's quite the fleet Lou. Your photo makes me want to start playing naval war games again.
Peter
Forgot to upload close up photos!
Lou
The flotilla is in its new location. I like the shadow created through the glass shelves. Unfortunately HMCS Bonnie and the USS Preston suffered some damage and will be required to spend a few days in dry dock when the time becomes available.
Lou
Very nice display Lou, great use for double glazed panels if I'm not mistaken. Regards Paul J.
They were recycled from my neighbour's renovations.
Lou
Lou, Good job on all the ships, makes it worth putting plans on the site. Keep it up. Marsh
Very nice Lou.
Peter
The River Class Frigate joins the fleet. That raises the total to 11 ships including Garet's PT Boat.
Lou
That's nice, Lou! I visited a Flower-class frigate in Halifax last year and have wanted to make one since then. There are plans in our gallery, even.
Garet
Thank you Garet. I used the gallery drawings for my Flower Class Corvette.
Lou
ID Flotilla is twelve strong including Garets PT Boat. My T2 Tanker is still in dry dock with workers on strike. Again.
Lou
A belated update of my flotilla with HMS Aurora.
Lou
The flotilla now numbers 12 with the addition of the T2 Tanker.
Lou

Fraser

Lou
