Here are some of Chucks earlier models from the seventies. All are solid balsa models.

I made most of the models from patterns in the book "Model Planes for Beginners" by H.H. Gilmore.  There were 3 editions of this book from 1942 to 1957. 

I'm going through Gilmore and other books for a project after a long pause.  I like the F-100 and the F-104 from the jet age.  I also like the P-47 and Handley Page Hampden from WW2.

If you do a search on the site you will find those were all built by one member or another. Let me know if you need help with the search.
