Title: Supermarine Type 224
Post by: Boomerang on December 19, 2010, 02:08:08 AM
  Finally finished.
All balsa. Wheels from the the imperial sewing basket.
Tamiya silver with touch up using "Hobby Color" silver hence the tonal difference.
Home made decals worked a treat.
Only lost one roundel ( got stuck to my finger) but had a spare on the sheet.
  Enjoyed the finishing off process.

  Cheers
  Gordon

Looks fantastic. Your silver finish really turned out well for you. I took the liberty of adding a larger photo.
As to your decals, they also turned out great. I just wet the backside nowadays and found much better results that way.

Gordon,
Looks fantastic. What's the scale or size?

Cheers,
