As some of you may know, the forum was spammed early yesterday morning (at least in my time zone).  We have taken steps to make it harder for spammers to do this again.  We apologize that this happened.  As always, there is a balance between making our site easily accessible for those who want to share their work, and making it difficult for others to abuse this trust.

I usually find them first being out east. I wish there was a reverse spam to shut them down, but alas as you mentioned, it is the price of having an open site.
