Running a few drawings through my mind for a 1/144 project. I have not made one lately. I plan to work multiple models for a while.

A 1/144 scale F3D Skyknight is on the bench. Coming in at just over 4 inch wing span.  Just something to fiddle with while the primer dries on my two Sabres.

I elected to do a separate canopy as the built in one was problematic. All parts are awaiting final light sanding and them assembly.

Looking good Lou. The skylight is on the list . A fair way on though.

At 1/144 scale it does not take up much materiel nor time.

Lots of putty for such a small model.

Gearup

Making the canopy separate is a good idea and would simplify the carving. Another note to self....

#13
Decals have been printed and spray with a gloss coat. The back ground matches the model's paint job. Could be finished by the weekend. I have not decided if I will add landing gear as most of my 1/144 scale collection have them. Two copies as the first printing smeared ther code letters.

Roll out 6 August 2020. A fairly simple build but still quite enjoyable. The decals had to be touched up with dark sea blue paint.
