Ah, September and those with children, back to school. It is the most wonderful time of the year according to my next door neithbor. For our community, I hope it is back to carving and displaying your models. Summer was very quiet on the site, more than usual. Let us hope this is not an indication of lacking interest. Regardless here are the stats:

Greetings All,
Spring has sprung in the Antipodes.
Still slowly going ahead with the Cierva.
Picked up on the Glider and Tug theme and decided to use 1/144 as the scale and have a Hotspur, Horsa and Hamilicar with
Lysander in production at the moment. the Lysander will be for the Hotspur and I've sourced a drawing for a Stirling which will do for
Horsa and Hamilcar
Picked up several Cleveland Modelmaking News volumes on ebay and have started a 1/64 Buhl Pup.
Your Cubs looked great Lou.
Cheers
Gordon
Good to hear from you Gordon. I look forward to your photos.

I am finally close finishing something! I will be posting photos in the next day or so. The traditional solid modellers maybe shock! But it's made out of solid wood so I think I should be ok.

Barry has started two large scale Avro Anson's and already made the engine cowlings, propellers and wheels for these impressive models.
Merlin.
Great to hear Barry is modeling. I am still working on the AH-1W.

Christmas is early this year. I just picked up 3 double pane window glass (14" X 41") that will do very nicely for shelves along with a large quantity of pine bits and pieces at the very low price of being nice to the workmen next door. The misses and me took them some coffee earlier this morning and they reciprocated by offering me these goodies.
