Title: 1/64 Aeroput MMS - 3 Commenced 18/4/16 - Completed 19/6/16
Post by: Boomerang on May 04, 2016, 01:38:07 AM
This was a one off aircraft . Pilot and two passengers.
  2 x Pobjoy engines.

Held together with Blue tack at the moment.
Yellow with Black trim and registration.
Engines turned up from dowel in an electric drill and the blisters were achieved by using PVA as per Barry's demo.
  Worked OK.
Work will stop on both of these as we are going off for a week or so in search of some sun.

  Cheers

  Gordon

Easier to manage and shelf space is at a premium at the moment.

A little bit of progress.
Starting to finish it off.
Cabin framing was done by making a decal.
Everything is held together with blue tac at the moment.

Hopefully get it finished in a couple of weeks.

Cheers

A better picture.

Wing is now attached and a bit of filler added to junction with cockpit.

Need to touch up cabin framing. Tail wheel and two propellers have been made.

Chugging along nicely.

Cheers

Thank You Lou, Biggles and Paul

There's still a place for the odd Spit, mustang and Lanc

I like the unusual and rare.
I find that when I search on the internet there is always something that pops up that requires a bit more of a look and
if you're lucky there's a drawing somewhere.
I've found some details for three Russian 1930's sports/trainers which I have culled down to one.
That all started with a picture in and old "Air Trails " magazine.

Whilst on the subject of classics last year was the 80th anniversary of the Hawker Hurricane.
So a model of the prototype is in the mix.

Keep up the good work everyone
Cheers

Gordon
