This has been cut out and roughly shaped.

Fuselage and wing Hard Balsa . Tailplane from basswood.

Using the ID drawings and a plan by Alf Granger.

Picture to follow.

I might just follow your lead. I do not have a Helldiver in any of my collections. Looks great. Lots of colour full schemes available at Wings Palette.

There are a lot.

I decided long ago to do the RAAF one.

Did not see that one but again all I searched for were USN versions. I down loaded the Vars and Gallery drawings. Wood selection tomorrow.

This is where the Claude and the Shrike are at the moment. Going away for a few days

Have a safe trip. I looked for the RAAF A-25 and found just one colour scheme that appear to be olive drab over light grey with RAAF roundels. Do you have any other colour scheme?

Only Olive Drab over gray. There are two aircraft A69-4 in Australia and the other is A69 -25 taken in the States. I have the decal sheet for this one
A69 -4  has large wing roundels and a yellow outline to the fuselage roundel.
That is the one I intend to do.

Decals made up for this and the Claude. Going to try something different with the cockpit on this and the Claude.

I look forward to see how you handle the open cockpit.

Back for a couple of days and away again for a couple.

Managed to get some work done.

I've made up a paper template for the Claude's windscreen. Still at the fiddle stage.

Claude is Dark green over Orange. Used as a fighter trainer. I'm leaving off the arrestor hook.

Trying something different with pilot and Gunner canopies.

They stand proud of the rest of the canopy so I'm experimenting with thick paper and thin strips of Tamiya tape hit with olive drab.

Seems to be working ok.

Thanks Lou.

Its a bit fiddly and not good therapy but it should work out.
