Another great early jet. Looking forward to it.
Lou
Hungarian Air Force scheme sorted . Got to love the internet.

Gordon
Looking forward to the mig build"
Fraser
The result of a few hours spent yesterday.
Gordon
Excellent beginnings.
Lou
Looking good Gordon, regards Paul J.
Thank You Lou and Paul.
I've cleaned it up a bit and given everything a second coat of primer.
Next is the inlet and outlet.
Nothing glued yet.
Cheers
Gordon
Can I have a photo with the vertical fin removed? Would like to see how you mated the parts.
Lou
Disassembled.
The pin holes in the wing are for the location of the fences and ailerons. The ones in the fin are for location of the stabilizer. The single pin hole indicates the forward location of stabilizer.

Gordon
Thank you Gordon. That makes for strong joints.
Lou
Nice work with the mortise and tenon along with the half-lap joint for the vertical fin. Should be a very durable structure!
Fraser
Starting to finish this off. Changed my mind on finish. Found one on WingsPallette for a Soviet Aerobatic Display team.
What's a Mig without Red on it.
Pictures to follow
Gordon
Managed to get the guns and wing fences installed yesterday. Bit of quality control on the inlet and that should be it.
Decals printed and experimenting with "touching" up before application as per Lou's latest.
Pictures to follow .
Gordon
Where the Mig is at.
Decals have been printed.
Bit more quality control required.

Gordon
Looks great Gordon, a striking colour scheme, regards Paul J.
Thank You Paul. nearly finished
Gordon
Beautiful paint scheme Gordon. It will fit in the aerobatic cook up if it is what I think it is. # 45?
Lou
Mig- 15 finished. Found some Mig-15's in Soviet Aerobatic display team colours on Google and Wingspallette.
I've left off the pitot and the jet pipe.
Cheers
Gordon
And a couple more.
Now that I've finished it I can cut something else out.

Gordon
Homemade decals, Vallejo Scarlet and Tamiya bare aluminium used
Very nice Gordon, I like your in action shot, regards Paul J.
Excellent MiG 15 Gordon. Love how you carve out your intakes.
Lou
It is a very colorful MIG. I also like the intake detail. Did you add the bifurcation to the inlet after carving?
Fraser
Thank you Lou, Paul and Fraser.
I enjoyed this it seemed to go together without to much mucking around.
The inlet was done with a sharpened brass tube to the depth I wanted . Marked the outline of the the bifurcation in the front. A bit of supa glue top and bottom . Roughly gouged out and the did the fine work with a rotary tool. The Brass tube gives a clean edge.
Cheers
