Title: Useful software
Post by: Peter on February 05, 2011, 01:32:14 AM
Hello,

I wasn't sure where this should be posted so I decided to here. I recently found this software called Rapid Resizer in a woodcarving magazine. Its for quickly and easily resizing patterns for carvers. As soon as I watched the video, the light bulb came on! This would be perfect for resizing plans of planes.

This next software is called Modelbuilder and I have owned it for several years. Its meant to be used for designing and printing cardstock buildings for model train layouts. I have used it for making cardmodels for my wargames. After looking at Lou's hangar back drop photos, I realized the same thing can be done using this software. Maybe I'll make a 1/144 air museum  ;D

There's a video showing how it works and a customer gallery. You can also print at any scale!
