The rotor is laminated X4 with 1/64 plywood and also main landing gear with braces with bamboo skewer cut lenghtwise in 2, then 4, then 8 and rounded off. The leading edge of rotor is with half round basswood and fairing done to it. The rotor wire is 32 Gauge. Next time will double check the size of the 9 cyl. engine (it was 1/45...) The rigging for the landing gear and wings and tail is made using " paint brush bristles..." and ...GOOP...Enjoyed doing it, already started on the X-Mass project: Gregor FDB-1 CF-BMB. A very neatly done Pitcairn with excellent engine and cockpit details.
