Outstanding finish Cliff. Where did you get the decals?

Hi Lou,
I should address two issues: why I chose to model a particular aircraft, and; what particular modelling challenges I was presented with. With respect to the first question it was chiefly because, as part of the Century Jets cook-up, I became committed to this aircraft. But also because the Western Canada Aviation Museum has "034" in their collection and on display and also because I thought that it would be a quick model to present, were additional incentives. Finally, I thought it would  be fun (as in ballroom dancing which I never got to the point of having fun) to photograph the aircraft departing Thunder Bay.

Modelling challenges: as a returning modeller or "lapsed" modeller all was a challenge. But especially, apart from masking and painting, was how to carve the wings so as to include the jets.

But you didn't ask that. The decals were from Pete at Spare Time Hobbies here in Winnipeg. He is able to make them from photos given their scale. This last I intended to include earlier.
