Title: Harleyford are (sort of) back!
Post by: Will on February 05, 2014, 02:00:15 PM
The grand-daughter of D.A.Russell of "Aeromodeller" etc fame has resurrected the Harleyford brand famous for their aircraft modelling books.  At the moment they're publishing cards using the old books' artwork but where else will it lead?

Preserving a legend in aeronautical publishing,D.A.Russell or 'Rushy' as he was known to his friends, the pioneering work of Harleyford is a story in itself, its good to know that effort has been made to preserve these old documents.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention Will,I just hope that the venture is successful.

Barry.

Barry,
I think you have D. A. Russell and C. S. (Rushy) Rushbrooke confused.

You are correct Mark,C.S.Rushbrooke was with 'Aeromodeller' magazine their managing director,a senior moment in time,my apologies and thank you for pointing it out.
