This was cut out back in 2012 with the Horsa and Hotspur.

Had a bit of time so this is the progress to date.

Wheels have been turned up using a dremel.

This has progressed to the finishing stage .

Camouflage and invasion stripes applied.

Undercarriage made using squashed brass tube and then soldered. Bit fiddly and not achieved on the first pass.

Canopy and nose glazing framing will be done when I find the brush with three hairs.

I did try posting an update with  picture yesterday but failed.

I'll see if this works.

Cheers

Finished yesterday.

Kids are from black plastic take away coffee cup. Rubber blocks for these are communication cable insulation.
Undercarriage struts are from squashed brass tube with a thin brass axle.
Tail wheel is comms cable sealed in the centre with cyano.
Decals from left overs.

Maybe a Waco CG-4A at some stage later.

What a difference those invasion strips make. Great model. Now I have to get off my b--- and carve something.

Another great model Gordon, you are putting us all to shame with your build rate!!!. Regards Paul J.

I don't know about build rate . Time and space presented some opportunities . Soooo.

May come to a screeching halt in a couple of days. Going away.
