Title: 1/144 Westland Lysander Started 2014 Finished 8 OCT 2018
Post by: Boomerang on October 08, 2018, 01:10:00 AM

The Lysander was started around the same time as the Hotspur and Horsa.
I intended to do it with the Glider Tow attachment.

I did find some info but it was a wee bit fiddly (for me).

So over the last couple of days I have cleaned it up a little bit.
Added the blisters on the cowling with PVA/Talcum powder. Propeller and struts are from take away coffee cup plastic top.
Spinner is a bit of clear sprue spun up on a dremmel and attached to a pin.
Tail wheel is from thin copper wire bent to shape. I annealed it and filled the centre with Cyano.
The decals are from a Sheet that I printed off years ago ( was still learning then). I wont be adding a fin flash.

Didn't turn out too bad.

I've cleaned up the Hamilcar a bit too. Will add the topic later

Cheers

Gordon

Thank you Paul and Lou.
Using bits and pieces probably stems from my childhood. Making do with what you have.

Cheers
