Hey Gang,
I actually have this book, False Colors: Art, Design and Modern Camouflage by Roy R. Behrens and have read it too :) It really is fascinating, though for the casual enthusiast the above link tells most of the story, and shows most of the good pictures. Roy Behrens is a cool guy and I was in a bit of contact with him. He'd be glad to talk to anyone who has questions.
Take care all, nice to be back,
Kenny

I especially like the Turbinia drawings. I've been wanting to make a model of her for a while (first turbine-engined ship).

Ben,
Good catch on the Calypso! I hadn't noticed her. Ray and I were discussing the Calypso last weekend. She was built here in the Pacific Northwest (as a minesweeper).
