First of three new projects is a Tiger Moth in 1/32 scale. I anticipate slow progress but intending completion by year's end. Drawings printed and wood for the wings have been cut.
Lou
Wings are block shaped with some contour work on the top one. The fuel tank is integral to the wing.
Lou
Fuselage block glue together. Carving to begin shortly.
Lou
Some progress.
Lou
Great progress Lou, regards Paul J.
Thank you Paul.
Lou

Lou
Looking great so far Lou.
Gordon
Thank you Gordon.
Lou
This is my second attempt at the Tiger Moth undercarriage. The first placed the aircraft way to high of the ground. Next wing struts.
Lou
Great job. Looks great.
Gordon
Looks great Lou, nice work with the undercarriage, regards Paul J.
Thank you Paul and Gordon. Your words are appreciated.
Lou
Top wing tacked in place. The top wing is sitting too high even though I measured twice.
Lou
In the paint shop.
Lou
Coming along nicely Lou.
Gordon
Thank you Gordon.

I once had a tiger moth cut out, then I met someone who had flown them in England, he had been a wood carver so I gave the blank to him.Wish I had carved it. Hung up with eye problems now, possibly allergies.
Sorry to hear you are having additional problems. The Tiger Moth has been at the back of my mine for a great number of years but was reluctant to build it due to the Canadian canopy configuration. I have decided to use the large windscreen and rails but will not have the canopy. I saw one picture and read that on occasions the canopy was removed during the hot prairie summer.
Lou
Rigging is in full swing.
Lou
Rigging definitely brings it alive.
Gordon
Nice looking Moth. Are you using wire for the rigging? Looks nice and straight.
Fraser
I use 10 lb. monofilament nylon fishing line for my rigging. Superglue keeps it in place. Attaching to the bell cranks is a bit of a chore and patience is needed to hold it in place until it is dry.
Lou
The DH-82 rolled out at 2 PM on 29 Aug 2021.

I've always liked the look of the Dragonfly.
Cheers
Gordon
Thank you Gordon. The Dragonfly is a nice aircraft.
Lou
Beautiful models there Lou. The open cockpit of the moth really adds a lot to the authenticity. Very nice to look at your workmanship. Thanks Lou..
Fraser
I saw a picture on line with the caption that the canopies were sometimes removed in summer. This is one of those ;D
