Any idea what scale the Ideal Co. USS Augusta model was supposed to be built? And the thickness of the wood for the patterns?

She should be 7203 inches in lenght. At 1/350 it is just over 20 inches.

Thanks Lou. You wouldn't happen to know what scale/size the printed kit was meant to be? Just wondering.

Dave,

I think most of the ideal kits were box scale, with the hulls the same length.  I have a photo of one next to a ruler that looks like it is 12 inches long.

I think Lotus-14 has one of the finished Ideal kits and may be able to provide more information.
