January saw a rise to 194,606 forum views which makes it the second highest January on record. We had 10 new topics and 68 posts.

The gallery had 32.404 views in the last two months bringing the total to 4,463,555.

There were no models submitted during the month of January.

I encourage members using other mediums such as Facebook, to post a link to SMM whenever convenient.

Feb still has just two models on my bench, namely:
1/72 Lockheed Lodestar - painted requiring antennae, exhaust pipes an decals. The decals are printed with only the windscreen needed to be painted on.
1/32 Big Rig - no progress

Several aircraft have been selected for my 2024 goals of making some early jets that date from 1940 to 1960. All are 1/72 scale with the following aircraft drawings are sized and printed:
Supermarine Scimitar
Gloster Javelin
Douglas Skyray
Vought Cutlass
The next few drawings are on the list but have not been sized nor printed:
Grumman Panther
Lockheed Starfire, Shotting Star
Blackburn Buccaneer
Canadair Sabre
Fiat G-91
North American Fury, Vigilante
Dassault Mirage III, Mirage IV, Ouragan
Hawker Hunter
Heinkel HE-280
Mikoyan Gurevich Fishbed, Fresco, Fagot
Sukhoi Fitter, Flagon
SAAB Draken
Hunting Jet Provost
How many of the 24 listed will actuality reach production remains to be seen.

 Greetings All,

BAT FK 23 - Progressing slowly

Fairey Battle - Success with making a usable canopy.

 DH 71 - Stalled.

Will update Battle and FK 23 later.

Lou Your build list is very similar to mine. Definitely down the track a bit.

Stay safe.

Thanks for the site info, Lou. I've been held up due to contractor adding a room in the basement. I have a Harvard, Vulcan & Vampire on the bench. Next birthday I'll be 90, hands, legs, back are 89. Brain is stalled  at 60.....it's a conundrum!
