Going to look nice with the decals. Beautiful work as always Lou!

Thank you Fraser. It was hard finding the colour scheme as I could not find any coloured shots and all B&W photos were not great.

Also, old color photos can just be an interpretation of the actual color o f the subject.

When I posed the question online, I got 10 different answers.

Unless there is a specification applied to paint, it still based on someone's perception.

Even with specifications, some colours were mixed in theater, hence some shading difference did occur. I am currently satisfied with what turned out.

The first model of 2024. The RCAF had 18 Ventura from 1943 to 1948.

 Another excellent result Lou.

 Well Done !

Thank you Gordon. As I mentioned, this will probably be my last RCAF aircraft before 1 Apr 2024.

Wow. I thought that you included a b&w reference picture of the model in flight. Took me a few looks to see it was actually the model you made. Well done! The b&w photo really made it come alive.

Thank you Fraser. It took a while to get a decent B&W effect, but well worth the effort. I used In Pixio to remove the stand and background, then overlaid the aircraft on a WWII airfield.
