Hi, I'm brand new on here. I mostly build plastic models, cars, trucks, buses, aircraft. I want to eventually make a 1/72 Dash 7 and Dash 8-400. I need a good set of plans to do this. I'm not to used to working with wood, but I have used it a few times and like using it. I don't have many tools for wood working but  a good friend is a contractor so that should help. The Dash 7 will likely be completely scratchbuilt. The Dash 8 I hope to modify the Hobby Craft kit(a lot), likely just use the kit for parts.

Our link section has many sites for you to search. The Blueprint https://www.the-blueprints.com/blueprints/modernplanes/de-havilland/ has basic Dash 8 drawings. Scale RC sites may also carry what your need in that they will give you pretty accurate cross sections of the fuselage. Aerofred has a basic rubber power with what looks fairly good cross sections. http://www.hippocketaeronautics.com/hpa_plans/data/thumbnails/20/starleafdash8.jpg

It is on my to do list. However time time time.....

Thanks. Is the blueprint site a good site to work with? Can you just sign up and get the pictures? or is it better to pay for them?

The only drawings for sale are the vector drawings. Otherwise I just registered and can down load all none vector drawings for free. You can download the thumbs without registering. I use it often.

I just saved the best resolution ones. The Dash-8-400 is not labeled as a 400 but looks correct.
