I finished this model back in January and posted about it in the PING then, but I'm posting it now to get all my solids into this board.
It's a 1/48th scale Douglas DC-2 like the ones my grandfather used to fly for American Airlines. This is my first solid model. I've been building plastic kits and woodcarving for many years, this is the first time I've combined model-building and carving in the same project.
