Thanks for the progress shots.
Lou
Marsh, beautiful work. What scale is she?
Garet
Garet it's 1/600. It will be a slow build as I have a lot on just now. Marsh
Brass inserts in bow and stern to keep the shape. Marsh
I like to make the tray for the sea as soon as pos. Marsh.(https://i.postimg.cc/Vsn2DspV/D745-E011-1460-41-F6-BD7-C-1-A1-BFE37-D49-A.jpg)](https://i.postimg.cc/Vsn2DspV/D745-E011-1460-41-F6-BD7-C-1-A1-BFE37-D49-A.jpg) (http://
Nice, what do you use for water. I am a tin foil kind of a guy.
Lou
Lou I just use Plasticine, at some time I will try something different. I would rather build a full Hull than a water line one, but in this case I just have a water line plan. Marsh

Hello Marsh.
Looks very nice. Thanks for showing the model beside the removed patch of "ocean". It seems like a good technique to get a good fit around the model and still preserve the structure of the ocean surface. BTW, is that a scratch built model engine on the bench?
Fraser
Nice to see your progress shots. My navy is waterline and no water. Your sea will really set the model off well.
Lou
Nice work, plasticine sea looks very effective, regards Paul J.
Fraser yes I built two aero engines, but no good to get going so give up for now ( no time). I like to fit the ship to the sea before getting on with the model (I can paint the sea later) I am struggling with this model as some of the plan is not to my liking ( plan on this site). Merry Christmas Marsh.
Merry Christmas from the west coast as well.
Fraser
My work is slow, but up to this, see photo.

Excellent progress Marsh.
Lou
Great work Marsh.
I enjoy watching these come together.
