One of my co-workers told me her father served in RCN corvettes during the war. I built this for her as a Christmas present. My first foray into wooden ship models. Basswood, mahogany, birch, oak and bloodwood on a poplar base. I just love that streaky poplar...
And so it goes...

Beautiful work on this one. I like the carved fittings and also the railing. What is the ship length?

Jim

Thanks, Dave. IIRC, the length on the corvette was about 10 inches.
And so it goes...

I must have been sleeping or my memory is really gone. I notice I had not made any comments and your Flower Class Corvette deserves worthy praise. Excellent workmanship.
