Title: Whiteboard tape?
Post by: Peter on May 17, 2012, 03:07:54 AM
 Hello,

Has anyone used whiteboard tape for making canopy lines or pin striping on finished models?

Hi Peter,

A guy was using Jammydog 1mm masking tape to mask canopies at the local placky modellers last night.  He said it was very good and the price reasonable (way, way cheaper than Tamiya tape).  Hope this helps.

I assume the whiteboard tape is the same as the old chart tapes ("chartpak" / "letratape") which used to come down to 1/64" in various colours, if you could find it still.  I'm sure some models in SMM galleries have details such as aileron marking out using this.
