Title: Type BB details: the nose
Post by: scottzepher on March 22, 2010, 05:27:17 PM
I love this plane, and will probably be making another in more of a 1/32nd or 1/24th scale which will allow more details.  I just want to get this done, so a solid nose was scratched from doweling.

Taking a chance here, but the information seems to fit the topic.  I am sizing up a prop for the BB, and I think I've got it sized right. Like everything else, there's been little if any decent information on the prop, even form other MS types.  Have a look, fellas, and tell me what you think:

I found this picture on line. It shows what appears to be a wooden prop. There are probably various props used due to availability and logistics.

Thanks Lou.  The pictures of the BB I do have feature a more traditional looking prop (curved on both sides), but just as oversized-looking. Looks like I've got the scale pretty good
