2018 will concentrate on WWI projects and the completion of my AL-60 Conestoga, the Bruno Stillman 55, the 1/32 Canadair Sabre and perhaps some progress on the Bonnie.
WWI project to date are a 1/32 Niewport 11 Bebe, 1/350 HMCS Aurora and a 1/32 Mark 1 field tank. I am sure other project will blossom as I want to duplicate Tom Solury collection.
As a starter to the year, I wish you all success in your model projects as well as filling your life's personal goals.

2018 - WW1 - T28 Floh(Flea), Macchi M5, Fokker D-VIII.
- Flycatcher and Ca-15 have languished for a while will endeavour to finish them.
- Several "small " projects that may come to fruition during the year.
- Must get into RC MTB as well.
I echo Lou's appreciation to Ray and Garet .
To everyone all the very best for 2018.
Cheers
Gordon
I Have received 8 models build by Larry to be added to the poster. That make 71 models in all.
Lou
We have 72 models unless I duplicated one. Comments are welcomed and encouraged. This is your builds for 2017.
Lou
The real poster image will be clearer.

The attached PDF file is the second prototype of the 2017 poster. Comments please. The images were arranged by size uploaded. All pictures for the year book should be 2X3 scale. Please set your camera accordingly.

New Toon started, loosely based on a Metal Slug Flyer which itself is based on a Harrier. Pictures to follow on my project board.
Sorry Lou, I forgot to say the second poster looked better with the images at the side of the central block. Regards Paul J.
2017 Poster Mk III. I missed Pete's models.
Lou
Looks good to me Lou, regards Paul J.
Thanks Paul. Just waiting a while to make sure everyone has a chance to comment.
I have added a page to the Model Index in the cook up section to add all WWI projects I can find on this site. It may take a while.

I am going to town on the 16th and will visit my favorite print shop for my copy.
Lou
I prefer #3 - Thanks Lou!

The Piasecki is still one I carved in 200, I made another in 2017. The Sikorsky S51 is still missing.
Pete
Version 4 with S-51 and new Piasecki.

I am copying WWI models to http://smm.solidmodelmemories.net/SMF/index.php?topic=1413.msg17136#msg17136 so they can be displayed together.
Check it but remember it is a work in progress.

Regarding WW 1 models....I may be a touch biased....but I think fingers SE 5 is one of the prettiest carvings I've seen in a long time, the detail is amazing!

Hello,
I am a newer member. I took a long hiatus from model building but am taking it up again.
In my youth I made simple solid models back in the early 1970s using the book "Model Planes for Beginners" by H.H. Gilmore. These are rather primitive compared to the fine models others are posting, but might encourage others to start. Is there a place on this site for posting such photos?
Regards,
Chuck
Welcome to Solid Model Memories Chuck, all abilities and levels of models welcome here. The section where you also posted would be the right place but you need to have your photos hosted to somewhere like Flickr to add them to a post. When you reply to a post, above the message box are a row of smilies and 2 rows of boxes. The first box on the second row is for inserting an image into the post, if you click on it [img]/[img] will appear and you need to put the web address of the picture in between [img]/[img] to post it. Then click on preview and your picture should appear in your message, if it does then click on post and it will upload to the forum. Regards Paul J.

Thanks much! I'll work on a hosting account.
I remember Gilmore's books (he had one with ships, and one with rockets as well, if I remember correctly). I believe I have several of them (purchased recently) in my library.
I built my PT-10 PT boat using his plans:
