Here is my method for marking a specific distance from an edge of a shaped part.

Thanks Garet. I will attempt to do some more using the video camera rather than my regular camera. I need to get better lighting or move outside.

Lou your little video monographs are really good,its not easy working away on something and filming it as well,you will hit Youtube yet !
