My first Air-Toon was inspired by Dave's marvelous F-107 and F-100. I think i may have pinched the F-102 fuselage a bit much. But them you have the liberty to do what you want in projects such as these. The F-102 is sitting in my smelly stuff drying area. It really should be in the garage. The sealant is curing for 24 hours, them a light sanding and off to the paint shop.

PS. Dave, same stand design as the F-104 but smaller

The F-102 took about 20 hours all together.

Did you work from some type of drawing or just make things up as you went along?

Dave, I used Blackheartart drawings at http://www.flickr.com/photos/31186322@N06/
My next, if there is wone will be a Voodoo seem at http://bcvenablesgraphixx.com/ Another place to look is http://www.caricatureaircraftpictures.com/fighters_&_attack.htm
Above and beyond are egg planes and your method of squissing the drawing and making minor adjustments as required.

Garet, fun in deed. They also have Spitfires and Mustangs and even a biplane or two.

The F-104 looks awesome so far. I want one.

Thanks Dave. The F-104 horizontal stab was off centre and a bit small. I have since replaced it with a more suitable one. The wife's model is coming along as well.

Progress report. I was out of town for a few days so I am a bit behind schedule.

The last of the Air-Toons for a while. There are still two on the bench but they have low priority right now. The CF-101B in 416 sqn colours just before they retired the old girl.

More Air-Toon photos. This one was built in exchange with a new found friend who is doing a line drawing of a Voodoo Air-Toon.

The latest Air-toon to leave the bench. The decals are aftermarket decals made for the 1/72 RCAF T-33 Silver Star. The Silver Star is the Lockheed Shooting Star built under licence by Canadair

One more Air-Toon for my collection. I really have a craving for these. A Canadian Forces CF-188 can now patrol the northern skies.
