RCAF 100th - 1/72 Airspeed Oxford started 24 Jun 2022 Completed 25 Jul 22

A 1/72 Airspeed Oxford is block shaped. It is a fairly small aircraft for a twin and the RCAF flew them in the traditional all yellow colour scheme as well as camouflage and yellow trim. Mine will be all yellow.

Thank you Gordon. I have since glued everything and added fillets to the main wing. Applying wood filler is not far behind.

The lapped wing joint is so well done and very strong. Another technique to give a try in a future model.

All but a rare few, have notched wings. Just a preference, and much easier to align.

Thank you Gordon. The model is painted and decals are partially applied. I anticipate roll out tomorrow.
