Thanks guys! I wanted to make a stand that I didn't have to drill holes or screw the model to the stand. I like to try different things as I go along. The base is walnut, a scrap piece I got from a local cabinet shop ($free). I heated the little tabs on the plastic with a heat gun and bent them over using a block of wood. It's a fine line between flexible and oops it melted.
