Another 1/72 yellow model is on the bench. Blocks are cut out and construction should begin before month's end.

Canada did not have many twin engine yellow birds.

Not many yellow bird left on my list. I originally I was going to do a 1/32 scale eversion, but decided against it due to size.

Moving along slowly. Fuselage and wings are glued and have to be filled and sanded. Engines are js just test fitted and having rocker arm blisters attached. Decals have been printed.

In the paint shop. Ribbing effect on wings and fuselage turned out better than first anticipated.

Wonderful work. The ribbing, especially down the fuselage looks great!

Was there any visual difference between the Mk.I and Mk.II Ansons?

Yes, Canada modified some Mk I to Mk II. They changed the engines, hence no rocker-arm cover blisters and different window arrangements. I suggest the modeller pick the particular aircraft and go with whatever photos are available.  Here are samples of a Mk I and a Mk II. There are other arrangements besides these.
