I happen to like the adventure-lounge link near the bottom. It has a selection of patent application drawings for bizarre planes. A couple of these sites are in Russian language.

Here is a link to the website where I found these images. It's a German language site concerning the Koester wooden toy ship company of the 1930s.http://www.koesterschiffe.de/modelle/menuemod.htm# (http://www.koesterschiffe.de/modelle/menuemod.htm#)
What a great site :o
I could spend an afternoon there. ::)
I like the toy like quality and the vintage designs of the work boats..
Try piping it through Google Translate.
I don't like the big copyright watermark, but you soon see through it.
Thanks Dave. ;D :P

Dave, nice models but a bit pricey for my liking. we could undersell them by quite a bit if we wanted to. Still, a good site for inspiration. Thanks.

Lou, I didn't even notice there were prices. I'm not in the market for them anyway, that's why I make my own things. :'(
If you're interested in Miles aircraft, there is a museum site with 3-view drawings, including cross-sections. At the homepage click on the "Miles Gallery 1 & 2". Under each plane you may (and sometimes may not) find a link to a PDF format drawing.

This site is about a book on the Fisher Body Craftsman's Guild where school-aged students competed for scholarships by carving models of futuristic automobile designs from wood and other materials. A gallery of photos-
