The Campini N1 was Italy´s jump into jets in 1939!!!!!!!!!....it was Big!!! and flew very well. Since war was looming in the horizon it was "postponed" for prioritary projects and now it sits in the Vigna di Valle Air Museum at Vigna´s seaplane Base just a few miles form Rome. I had the luck to visit the museum, thanks to my great Roman builder´s group, where we spent one whole day and could have stayed for three!!! it is
a huge place full of planes, models, and you breathe aviation history more than air in there!!!! to me the most beautiful aviation museum I have seen......
Anyways, I took lots of pics, around 450, and many of the Campini. Back form the trip I got me a three view plan and started work------------sorry to say, due to other commitments (other models :o) I have not finished it, but will do so before the end of 2008, I hope.

.........will continue :D

Hi Gera,

That is a nice model and a very rare one at that. Also neat photos. Thanks.
