My recently repaired and repainted WW2 vintage Strombecker identification model of the Consolidated B-24D.

Just leaving it as a matt black identification model.

It is a nice looking ID model. They must have been quite effective training aids as really all you see is the shape in the sky.

Hat couture.  Yes, that's a Strombecker B-24/C-87 on a lady's hat.

Lovely lady, but not the kind of hat my misses would wear. It might have been a Consolidated promo.
