need to make turbojet engine nacelles and rocket nozzle
Supermarine Spitfire 1/72 (PRU version)
painting complete, decals printed and ready for application
need to make a tail wheel
Supermarine Speed Spitfire 1/48
fuselage complete
wing rough-cut
Tool projects:
two gouges shaped and heat-treated; need tempering
wider (3/16") chisel needs final shaping, heat-treatment, tempering
Hobby workbench:
purchased green Douglas fir timbers (4x4), which are stacked and drying
Non-model projects:
child's skin-on-frame kayak frame complete except for bow, stern, and cockpit combing
Thought I would add my summer projects to the impressive lists I see on the site, I work at my summer place in Wisconsin Dells during the summer months, but don't paint or assemble difficult planes up there, I have the winter months for that.
My summer project wrap up (ping is a word that I don't fully understand)
Republic Lancer in the paint shop
Petlyakov P.E. 8 final sanding needed
I.M.A.M Ro 43 being assembled
Beriev Kor-1 Being assemble
Dewoitine D720 In the paint shop awaiting national insignias
Arado Ar 231 awaiting assembly
Fairey Seafox awaiting assembly
You will note that most of my projects now are on somewhat obscure float planes, after some 420 WWII airplanes it becomes hard to find well known projects. Ted Billings
