The F4U-5N was a Monogram Superkit that I added detail to. It has a complete (scratch built) R-2800 C-Series power plant and radar suite. The kit is very accurate considering it dates from the early fifties when the -5N's were still in fleet squadrons. The markings represent Lt. Guy Bordelon's VC-3 mount in which he scored a kill during the latter part if the Korean War.
