I-16 rough assembly The fuselage and wing are almost completely shaped. I tacked on the vertical stabilizer for the photo. Just before this photo, I glued on the pieces to hold the wing fillets. I used thin basswood rather than the cardstock recommended in the WW II ID model guide. The cardstock frays and makes a mess as you sand it. Keywords: polikarpov I-16 solid id model airplane
