Veron Super Sabre 3 of 3 - Parts Veron "Truscale" F-100 Super Sabre kit One of the members of our local IPMS group brought this along to last night's meeting. Peter started it and got as far as rounding off the fuselage before joining Her Majesty's Forces in 1956! Apart from the what can only be called "slabs" of balsa, the detail parts consist of 4 plastic wheels, a vac-formed canopy and a piece of 1/32 ply for u/c doors. 4 decal US stars meant considerable skill with the paintbrush required to match the markings on the plan. The templates appeared to have been cut from the box of another kit! I understand Veron was one of the high-end kits of those days, though Airfix was just coming on the scene.
