1940 TWA Stratoliner Restoration

Wings were laminated up of five planks of pine, engine nacelles of three. Model was reasembled using epoxy glue and the filler used was PC Woody, a wood epoxy paste. A lot of filler was used in the original construction as in the restoration. New propellers were carved based on the Smithsonian model photos and Paul Matt's Stratoliner drawings
