Stinson SR5 Top
1/32 size Stinson SR5 model from Donald W. Clark plans which appeared in a 1930's issue of Popular Science Illustrated magazine. Model made from basswood and pine. Wing struts from flattened brass tubing. Engine is an epoxy casting of a master made from cobbled together parts. Propellor carved from plastic. Numbers on wings made using masks. Small markings on tail are homemade water slide decals using Micro Mark decal paper. Wing ribs made from .010" styrene strips blended in with thick primer and wet sanded smooth.
