22. Blending in the belly
It turns out that there is a smooth transition from wing to fuselage in the Ascender's belly.  When I carved the wing, I had a sharp step.  This helped me to figure out where the wing root should be and led to a more accurate cross section.  In this photo, the left side is nearly blended.  The right side has been rough-carved with a chisel and still has a small step.
