Wooden R2-D2 Model

I made a small model of R2-D2 from Star Wars for my son. The main piece is cut from 5/8-inch dowel, and then wrapped with a paper decal. I had to hand paint the details on the dome head, though.
Many thanks to Shunichi Makino of SF Paper Craft Gallery, who designed the cardstock model on which the paper decal was based.
